Beogradski učesnici su: Dragana Grbić, Goran Rubil, Jelena Lalić, Julijana Protić, Milan Đurić, Katarina DJ.Urošević, Jelena Milosavljević, Ljilja Vulević i Ana Mandić.

.......

The smart archive enables a direct viewing of videos combined with additional textual information. Since the data accumulated alongside with an artistic process are becoming a cultural artefact themselves, the smart archive can be understood as a step further into the field of artistic exploration, offering the user a possibility to choose and to orient himself in the archive. It is a smart tool that offers an overview of a large amount of information. However, it is interesting to observe that the authors are actually using artistic discourse to develop a tool of which the art institution itself should be providing. Also in their previous projects dealing with cyberspaces the authors Narvika Bovcon and Aleš Vaupotič have explored the theme of archiving artistic videos and intertwining them with the scientific data of cosmic background radiation. This approach is most consistently developed in the new media project S.O.L.A.R.I.S. Archive and Interface. The authors have focused on the archiving of students' artistic videos that are by copyright bound to the academic institution. Thus the project raises the question of the necessity for a bigger accessibility of art works. (From Zoran Srdić: "S.O.L.A.R.I.S. - arhiviranje in spoznavanje", Ampak, January 2005)

S.O.L.A.R.I.S.2. installation in Belgrade condenses the media manipulation of artistic message into the interactivity of Wiki version of Mouseion Serapeion, whereas at the same time it focuses the exploration of Solyaris by Stanislaw Lem and Andrei Tarkovsky on the personalized relationship between the user and the installation - by facing the user with a smart and open internet archive and by confronting him with the intimate situation of a dialogue with the king Richard The Third.
