predavanje 14. 3. 2007 - 17.00h (Svečana sala Rektorata Univerziteta umetnosti, Beograd), otvoritev 15. 3. 2007 - 19.00h (O3ONE Beograd, Andrićev Venac 12, 11000 Beograd), delavnica 16. 3. 2007 - 10.00h (Akademija umetnosti, Univerza v Novem Sadu), delavnica 16. 3. 2007 - 18.00h (Univerza umetnosti, Beograd, razred prof. Miška Šuvakovića), predstavitve 17. 3. 2007 - 19.00h (O3ONE, Beograd)

Razstava projektov "Poglej še enkrat, ni ga več tam" (Narvika Bovcon, Barak Reiser, Aleš Vaupotič, programiranje Igor Lautar), Wordless (Vanja Mervič, programiranje Kristijan Pugelj, Josip Varga, Primož Škrjanc, Luka Prašnikar, Tjaša Horvat, Jelena Anastasov), Archaios Xene (Gorazd Krnc, programiranje Urban Puhar in Jernej Zupanc) in Sinking (Tilen Žbona, programiranje Štefan Furlan, Uroš Jurglič) v beograjski galeriji O3ONE bo predstavila štiri umetniške eksperimente v polju raziskovanja prostorskosti v luči izkušnje tehno-realnosti.

Brez besed/Wordless Vanje Merviča raziskuje nasprotni pol tehno-okupacije prostora.

The exhibition of the projects "If you look back for it, it won’t be there any more" (Narvika Bovcon, Barak Reiser, Aleš Vaupotič, coding Igor Lautar), Wordless (Vanja Mervič, coding Kristijan Pugelj, Josip Varga, Primož Škrjanc, Luka Prašnikar, Tjaša Horvat, Jelena Anastasov), Archaios Xene (Gorazd Krnc, coding Urban Puhar in Jernej Zupanc) and Sinking (Tilen Žbona, coding Štefan Furlan, Uroš Jurglič) in the Belgrade gallery O3ONE will present four artistic experiments in the field of research into spatial attributes in the light of the techno-reality experience.

"If you look back for it, it won’t be there any more" is »a smart« space, building itself up around the users entering into the virtual reality space, while itself gets integrated into the gallery space by means of a light object (installation with plexi glass and projection), as a negative of the relation between the interior (gallery) and exterior (dunes) that stretches into the interior/gallery in the rooms of the virtual space itself.

Brez besed/Wordless Vanje Merviča explores the opposite pole of the techno-ocupation of space. The new technologies capture the spectator into the system, which is afterwards used by the artist, optimistically, to construct the video for each spectator individually according to his-her personal identity number.

The project Archaios Xene by Gorazd Krnc includes the visitor of the gallery into the video image and into its narrative that is shaped by an ideological and political rearticulation of the classical greek myth about heroic women in contemporary life.

The project by Tilen Žbona Potopitev/Sinking reverses the optics of the videoinstallation. The usual situation, where the spectator watches the projection of videotape in the gallery space or enters into the space of the videoinstallation, the artist turns inside-out. Here the video is the motor, the one that moves the spectator around the gallery space in front of the installation. This is induced not with the analog technology of sensors, but instead the author uses the overall present infrastructure of the wireless networks as a parasite and defines the spectator’s position in the space according to the control signals received through PDA. Thus the newmedia art installation potentially expands into the real world, which we all actively inhabit with the wireless networks, those can in deed be locked by passwords, but that still doesn’t mean that they don’t exist any more for other users, this last proving to be an illusion even more so when the artist collaborates with the programming engineer on the project exploiting new technologies.

The four projects exhibited in the same gallery room will remodel their common gallery space and reshape it into a mesh of different realities: the multilayered realities of each of the projects, the reality of the Belgrade gallery and the plethora of worlds that every user brings along when entering an exhibition.
